Twelve Keys To Great Impact

How To Make Perfect Contact Everytime

The first four movements are the large, major motions through the hitting area. Each of these motions has its own unique function in helping to improve the strike of the ball. They help control the arc the club is traveling, the position of the clubface at impact and the speed at which the club is accelerating through the hitting area. These are the movements you want to become familiar with first because they are the ones upon which the others will be built.

Movements one through four

1. Right Knee: The right knee is driving aggressively toward the target. This is the key to shifting our weight to the left side and is a major factor in determining the arc of the club will traveling and where it will reach the bottom. It also helps to clear the left hip.

2. Left hip: the left hip has rotated/cleared to the left. This rotational motion is the main source of speed in the swing and is also a major influence on the path the club travels. Never shift your weight past the outside of the left shoe.

3. Back of Left Hand: The back of the left hand is flat and pointing directly at the target, slightly ahead of the ball and we are hitting down. This helps to compress the ball as well as control the position of the clubface.

4. Right Heel: The right heel begins to rise up. This helps our weight shift to the left. It`s raised just slightly for shorter shots and more for the longer ones.

As we continue our growth as golfers and strive to raise our games to a higher level, we need to begin to increase our understanding and attention to the finer details of the golf swing. In fact, this is what makes golf such an amazing game. The better we get, the more detailed our knowledge must become. In the next four movements, we will add some more precise points to the four main movements that we have already discussed. Movements five through eight begin to enhance movements one through four and make them more correct and complete. Try to incorporate these motions into the ones we have already looked at.

Movements five through eight

5. Ball of Right Big Toe: There is a definite sensation of pressure being pushed through the ball of the right big toe and into the ground. This movement adds a lot of support to the overall movement. Feel the ground. This point is a critical leverage point for the rotation of the body through the shot.

6. Right Ankle: The right ankle needs to roll in and drive towards the left. The ankle leading effects how the hips work in the swing. Never spin the right ankle away from the target. This move will spin the right hip out which will throw the club out and over the top.

7. Left leg: The left leg is in the process of straightening at impact. It is still slightly flexed at impact and completely locked just after the ball is struck. This move adds a lot of speed to the rotation of the hips.

8. Left Arm At impact, the top of the left arm should be glued to the side of the chest. This is the one place in the swing where the term connection is definitely relevant.

Movements nine through twelve

The final four impact movements complete the process of a correct impact motion. These are the final pieces of the puzzle. If all these moves are executed correctly, and in the correct sequence, it improves not only impact but also how we approach impact and how we continue through to our finish. Like a great orchestra, the goal of each individual piece should be to help improve all the other individual pieces and enhance the beauty of the complete group. After you have studied and become familiar with movements one through eight, try to add in these final movements.

9. Right Elbow: At impact, the right elbow should be directly in front of the right hipbone. The right hip supports the right arm allowing the hips, arms and club to work together through impact.

10. Left side of face behind the ball: The head does not have to stay completely still throughout the entire swing, but it must stay behind the ball until the ball is hit. The head remaining back is critical in the releasing of the club.

11. Shoulders slightly open: As the hips are rotating aggressively through impact, the shoulders are being pulled. At impact they are just slightly open to the target line.

12. Left shoulder rotation: Just as the left hip rotates through the ball, the left shoulder is beginning to rotate back. This is another ingredient that increases club head speed and helps the club travel on a consistent arc.

The Impact of Environmental Artists in Artful Change for Green Artists

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

If you are an artist in any field of art, what is your personal goal for your talent? Would it be for fame? Would it be about mere expressions? Or would it be about making a difference? There is a saying that talents are given for the benefit of others, not for oneself. If you believe in this saying, you most likely use your talent to make a difference in your community.

Fortunately, there are artists who have the heart to organize with other artists for a cause. The cause could be anything from promoting health and supporting children to preserving the environment. Whatever the cause may be, the important thing is that artists are encouraged to express talents not just for the own satisfaction but also for the benefit of the community. With such an organization, there is a chance for change and awareness that makes the world a better place to live.

Organizing Environmental Artists

One organization that gathers artists for a cause is Artful Change. This organization includes a group of environmental artists, whose main goal is to deal with environmental issues. The activities of the Artful Change are geared towards environmental awareness, preservation, and the creation of green and clean environment.

With such goals in mind, environmental artists can express their talents and use their talents to help make the environment clean and green. Their talents could be in music, performing arts, visual arts, graphics, literature, and many others. With such varied talents available, the preservation of the environment for the next generation would surely be possible.

How Environmental Artists Can Help

The impact of our daily activities to the environment comes in little things. Throwing trash just anywhere builds an unclean environment. In the same way, little things that green artists can do will have a great impact in the environment.

Artful Change is packed with activities for environmental cause. Green artists who are good in the field of music can organize concerts and use the earnings from the concert for environmental activities. Also, Artful Change can facilitate programs for the poets. They can organize workshops on how to make readable and effective poetry. It could be about the importance of taking care of environment. Or they can target a specific topic like global warming. Painters can make murals that depict a certain environmental issue.

The Impact Is Rewarding

As a group of environmental artists, Artful Change can organize and facilitate just about any form of activity that would uplift the environment. They can make a huge impact to the environment even in the small things that they do. The important thing is there is impact. The talent is not just for personal use but also for the benefit of the community and even the world.

When green artists make use of their talents for a cause, there is true reward. The reward may be far more valuable than material things such as wealth or fame. It is making an environment that is fun and clean to live in. Plus, it is preserving the planet for the next generations. Those who understand such incomparable reward would surely find Artful Change a good place to join. Green artists would not just express their talents here. They would also make an impact in the world.

Some Important Steps To Make a Massive Impact in Fast E-book Writing

Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

It is relatively easy to excel in the field of e-book writing. Selling e-books is the best online business so you better be sure to take your share. To make an impact in e-book writing, you must learn how to define your audience, write to inform, think about search engine optimization, become an expert in your field and limit the number of ads.

If these things confuse you, do not worry as I will explain to in details about each step.

1) Define your audience

Do not ever think about starting your writing if you have not define your audience. How can you write something when you do not have a slight idea on what people want? You can visit at www.pdf-stampers.com Join several forums on the Internet, blogs and discussion boards in your niche. Once you have done this, see what kind of problem your potential customers are having.

Write an e-book about it and sell it to them. This is pretty simple steps; you have a targeted audience, create an e-book and offer it to them. Easy money.

2) Write to inform and not to impress

most e-book writers make a mistake when they write fancy words and bragging about wide range of vocabulary just to impress their readers. Trust me, this way will not work. People will consider your e-book is nothing but junk. All they want is an e-book that can solve their problem and the e-book must be written in a straight to the point manner.

A plain and yet simple English will do the trick. Always put in your mind, when you write an e-book, you are trying to inform and not to impress.

3) Think about Search Engine Optimization

if somehow you can dominate the search engines on several keywords related to your e-books, then definitely you are going to make tons of cash without needing you to lift a finger. Domination search engine might take some time, but if you start from now, in 1 or 2 months from now, you will dominate the first page of search engines. The trick is to make sure your website address has the main keyword inside it. For more results you can also go to www.easy-pdf-toolkit.com

4) Become an expert in your field

People will not simply buy something from you if you are not well known. You need to become an expert in your field. Like mentioned earlier, you can join forums and post some helpful threads. Or you can answer several questions that people might have. By doing this, whoever read your post will fill that you know your stuff and start to trust you.

Other way to do this is by writing several articles and submits it to article directories. This will not only make you an authority to the niche you are targeting, but you can get extra backlinks to your website that can boost your search engines ranking.

5) Limit the number of your ads.

www.create-free-pdf.com

When people read your e-books, they only want to get the information as you have indicated in your sales letter. Do not try to sell something by putting lots of advertisements inside your e-book. If they fill you are doing this, they will quickly close your e-book and move on to search for greater e-book.

And that should do it, if you apply the above steps in your e-book writing, then there is now way you can fail to make money. Put this knowledge that you have just acquired to the test and see how much money you can make from selling e-books.

The Impact of Starch on GI Function

Monday, December 29th, 2008

As we enter the holiday season, we look forward to special gatherings and lots of tasty meals. While the holidays are exciting, I bet no one is considering how our diet has a major impact on the healthy bacteria in our intestines.

Remember those nights when we overeat and enjoy too many holiday drinks? Wouldn’t it be nice not to have those GI “feelings”?

It turns out that what we eat has a major impact on the health and function of our intestinal microflora.

This month I would like to share some information about the importance of consuming a certain type of starch. The information is a little technical, but is very important.

Starch is a polysaccharide (meaning “many sugars”) made up of glucose units linked together to form long chains. Starch is made by plants for their use as a source of stored energy.

There are different types of starches. Some starchy foods, like refined breads, rice, and pasta are relatively easily digested into glucose and absorbed in the small intestines.

Other starches, like those found in the fiber of fruits, beans and the bran in whole grain breads and cereals resist digestion but are very beneficial. They are called resistant starches.1

As the resistant starches pass through the small intestines undigested, they reach the colon where they are “digested” or femented by the bacteria. The starches are converted to short chain fatty acids (SCFAs). Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus use the resistant starch as energy, which in turn stimulates the bacteria to increase in number. These are the healthy bacteria that protect and enhance the functions of the colon.

Research has shown that SCFAs are a major energy source for the colon lining cells and keep them healthy and functioning.
Studies in humans and animals suggest that SCFAs help to maintain regularity, enhance immunity and lessen intestinal infection and inflammation. They also appear to possibly lessen the risk of colon cancer and even lower cholesterol levels2,3,4,5.

So, when you are enjoying your holiday meals, remember to include those dishes with resistant starch. Consider starting the day with oatmeal. For lunch or dinner, have whole grain breads and soups containing barley, beans or lentils. Cold pastas and potatoes also have fair amount of resistant starch. Refrigerating cooked pasta and potatoes changes their starches to a resistant form.

Finally, there is the decision to eat or not eat the annual fruitcake. Despite its sugar content, it does contain good fiber and lots of antioxidants…so enjoy!!

When you are tempted this season to eat the not so healthy holiday cakes, cookies, and pies, consider taking a good probiotic. A probiotic such as EndoMune has fructooligosaccharides (a resistent starch) and the healthy bacteria Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria to keep your GI tract functioning through this season.

Dr. Lawrence J. Hoberman is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. After a private practice of gastroenterology for over 25 years, he has chosen to focus his practice in a health and wellness program stressing preventive medicine. He recently introduced a new probiotic supplement, EndoMune Probiotic. For more information, visit http://www.endomune.com.

Review of Vegetable, Soy Beeswax Candle Products and Their Impact on the Environment

Monday, December 29th, 2008

There are new types of gourmet candles on the market which are made from vegetables, soy or beeswax, or a combination of all three. These environmentally friendly candles are a new form of candle that has only been on the market for a short number of years. Many people are not aware that there is a new form of candle available as an alternative to paraffin.

The difference between vegetable soy candles and other traditional candles is that vegetable candles are almost sootless and therefore less toxic to the environment. Everyone is now becoming more aware of toxic items in the home and these are a choice that is becoming more popular.

Some people burn candles on a daily basis as a form of comfort. Smelling a pleasant scent in the home is relaxing as is watching the flame in a dimmed room. In order to protect yourself, your family and your pets it is a good idea to try and use vegetable, soy or beeswax candles. There are many distributors who have products you can try and compare by buying a small order online and then trying them out.

The soot in vegetable soy candles is actually created from the scent rather than from the wax. The wax is completely natural. If you wanted to avoid even more soot in your home, you should buy unscented vegetable and/or soy candles.

Another comparable candle for a healthy alternative would be beeswax candles. They normally do not come scented but, as with soy candles, a beeswax candle would have some soot give off if the candle contained scent. Beeswax candles are great candles as well and if you buy them unscented you will also find they are very environmentally friendly. Beeswax candles are a hard form of wax and do not have to be burned in tight holders.

A good wax mixture would be soy, vegetable and beeswax since this combination has been determined to hold the scent the best.

Vegetable, soy candles differ from paraffin candles in that they will liquefy when burned. They therefore must be burned in tight thin glass holders. Many people do not realize this and when they buy vegetable and/or soy candles they expect them to burn in the same manner as a paraffin candle and they become disappointed when they put a vegetable wax votive on a plate and it melts down and collapses. This is why using a tight holder is important. Always read the instructions on any candles that you buy to ensure that you are burning them correctly. The liquefying effect of vegetable soy candles does not mean they are of low quality as might be the case with a paraffin candle.

The soft properties of vegetable, soy candles have another benefit in that if the candles are spilled they clean up very quickly which would never be the case with a paraffin candle.

The shelf life of a vegetable soy candle would be less than a paraffin candle. Usually nine months is about it. Be sure to burn up your candles within that period. If you come across these candles at a garage sale beware that you may be getting candles that are too old. They will still burn but the scent will have disappeared. Paraffin candles can be used even when many years old because of the hard wax as would be the same case with beeswax candles.

Have you ever considered making your own soy candles at home. Lots of small companies are starting up these days selling soy candles. Ingredients can be bought online and you could save yourself even more money by producing your own candles. The candle jars for vegetable and soy candles burn off most of the wax during burning and the remaining wax can be washed out easily. If you hold onto these jars, you can then use them for your own homemade candles.

Have you ever burned a candle to find out after hours that one of the wicks had stopped burning and the candle then looked lopsided on the top. When this happens the candle frequently does not burn properly after that. It usually occurs because of some unfelt draft in the room. With vegetable soy beeswax candles you can gently tap off the glass of the jar (use a bag to hold the candle) and after the glass is removed break up the candle for a simmer pot. You can remove the metal wick from a votive and drop it into a simmer pot too if you wish. The wick removes very easily with vegetable soy candles. There is never any waste with vegetable soy candles. As well, vegetable soy beeswax candles clean up really easily when changing the wax in a simmer pot. There is no running hot water to melt the wax. Just liquefy the wax, pour the old wax into the garbage and wipe out the pot with a Kleenex and insert new fresh wax. It is that easy.

Another consideration when you are buying candles is the wick. You want to avoid lead wicks since they give off toxins. Look for a candle that uses a cotton wick.

I have been using vegetable, soy and beeswax candles now for over two years, as well as, using the other scented soy body products. I have never had any problem with soot on the walls or the scent not lasting to the end of the jar or any skin problems with the body products. I would never burn paraffin candles again because of how incredible I have found these candles.

Affiliate marketing: an impact on travel affiliates

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Several weeks ago, a couple of longtime readers came to me with some intriguing questions covering all aspects of affiliate marketing in the travel industry. While my personal experience with the affiliate world is admittedly limited, the quickly changing landscape of search and social media marketing will undoubtedly have an impact on travel affiliates.

To sustain this level of growth, the questions are plentiful: will Oats become increasingly more dependent on their affiliates and aggregators to generate valuable customers? With shrinking commissions and lower margins, how can those affiliates increase their own revenue share? How are they going to separate themselves from the masses, when travel affiliate content is inherently similar? For more help visit to:www.scroll-pops.com. And perhaps the most important question, just how important is affiliates to the online travel industry?

While online retailers and financial services account for approximately one-half of the affiliate spending, they`re followed closely by education, auto, travel, For more help visit to:www.greatpromotionsite.com. and then all other sectors. So a significant slice of $1.65 billion puts affiliates in the U.S. travel industry in a reasonably comfortable place.

In the UK, where retail, travel, and financial services are the bread and butter of affiliate marketing, M-travel reported that affiliates drove more than £3 billion in sales in 2007.

The biggest change over the last several years has been the effort to reduce cannibalization by affiliates, with the OTAs and direct travel suppliers beginning to enforce restrictions with regards to SEM and keyword bidding strategies to maintain trademarked terms and related search traffic.

we started to see the effects of this impact the affiliate space, according to David Ranby, Superbreak`s Internet marketing manager.

“Maturity has been forced on the affiliate market by changes in PPC policies, increased adoption of direct marketing, and by the aggressive commercial models increasingly being adopted by the mass portals that used to think big visitor numbers were all that matters, and instead now have to pay dividends to new owners,” Ranby said in another report on M-Travel. “The `hobby` affiliate is squeezed out and only specialists or professionals can survive.”

So in the new trend is affiliate and aggregator based mass portals, who are taking their SEO and SEM efforts well above the hobby level by adding layers of valuable, expert content or specializing in niche segments to win the game. This doesn`t mean smaller players won`t be able to earn revenue on travel affiliates, but it does mean they will need at least two things:

Resources and the means to integrate new technology into their marketing strategies. This will go beyond XML integration of feed-based data and dynamic packaging, extending to their use of dynamic ad serving, tools, and widgets applicable to social media platforms.
How Will Social Media Marketing Work for Travel Affiliates?

By nature, social media is an affiliate platform — spreading votes of confidence and recommendations by word-of-mouth. Meanwhile, the entire industry is working on monetization plans for social media, but it will largely come down to experimentation with different tactics.

“We`re seeing affiliates in the Share Results network experiment with attaching their own pre-roll ads to video content on their properties, and especially affiliates who are using their personal identities to promote through blogs and social networking,” said Nicky Senyard, CEO of Share Results.

Social networking platforms are the ultimate test beds for increased behavioral targeting, as well as demographic and psychographic goldmines. It will come down to adaptability and the ability to create a rich media experience, and successfully use a mix of widgets, feeds, video, and beyond to engage consumers and cultivate additional sales from these experiences.

Corporate world and competition are inseparable. And to achieve success and survival, companies are indulged in cost controlling among most enterprises. The main basis is data, which is supporting these enterprises to stand in such a competitive scenario. But, there are also some man-made and naturally occurring factors which result in loss of enterprise information. That’s the reason why, companies are getting more educated towards data recovery.

Data recovery market is heating up with t set of solutions and the prime reason can be attributed to the upcoming data loss scenarios. On the other hand, the other one is of business nature as data loss brings disasters to the market reputation, opportunities and even its existence.

StructureYour Article for Maximum Impact

Sunday, December 21st, 2008

Writing articles is one of the best ways to promote your service or product since it establishes you as an expert in the field and you can get hundreds, if not thousands of links back to your website. But not all articles are created equal. In order to get the maximum benefit from your article writing they should have a consistent layout and structure. Follow these tips to give structure to your content and your articles will have a much bigger impact and stand a better chance of getting published.

For people whose literate capabilities extend to that last school essay that they handed in with a sigh of relief, writing an article is a daunting task and the end result often looks like a wasteland of grey text. A good article is written in such a way that it pulls the reader in and guides him through the content. Conforming to a standard format also makes it easier for article directories and sites that publish content to pick up your article and publish it. It also contributes to a professional image of you, the writer.

Here are the components of an article and how you should use each one for maximum benefit.

~ Title ~
The title of your article, like the title of your website, is probably the most important part of your article. And, much like the title of your website, you are writing for both the search engines as well as human beings. For the sake of the search engines, include your main keyword or keyword phrase in the title. For the sake of your reader, you have to create a title that will “pull the reader in”. In other words, your title must persuade the reader to read the rest of your article.

But here is a tip from Christopher Knight of EzineArticles – do not start your title with:
“7 tips for …”
or
“5 ways to …”
The first 3 or 4 words are the most important, and by doing this you are wasting important space! Rather use your keyword or keyword phrase at the beginning, followed by the number or ways, or tips that you are going to discuss.
For example: Organize Your Office: 7 Tips For Never Losing That $1000 Check Again

Remember to capitalize the first letter of each word in your title – but don`t capitalize full words, this will get your article rejected in no time.

Another tip for coming up with a killer title is to use some of the headline making software that helps you come up with compelling headlines for your sales letters, like Headline Creator Pro. While you might not actually use the headlines it suggests, you will quickly have a list of 100 headlines to play around with and modify. Just be careful though of not loading your title with too much hype – you are, after all, writing an article and not a sales letter!

~ Summary or Introduction ~
The summary, or description, of your article is often overlooked. This might be the only piece of text that will be displayed when your article shows up in an article directory. Sometimes you have the option of submitting the summary separately, other times the article directory software simply takes the first paragraph or so of your article. I suggest that you focus on the first paragraph of your article to provide you with your summary and introduction at the same time.

Like the title, it should create curiosity in the mind of your reader to entice them to read further. Please remember that a good article tries to solve some problem for the reader – try and describe what problem THIS article will solve. Describing the problem by means of a story or example help to make it real in your reader`s mind. A personal example also helps to establish you, the writer, as a real person and creates a rapport with your reader.

~ Body ~
The body of your article will bring across your main solution to the problem that you have sketched in the mind of your reader in your summary and introduction. Please remember to stick to ONE topic! It is very tempting to branch off into different directions, especially if you are enthusiastic about your area of expertise. If you find that you are wandering off into other areas, even if they are related to your main topic, consider saving that information in a scratch pad and make another article out of the material.

DO use bullet points or subheadings to break up your article. Bullets and headings catch the eye and once more pull the reader into the text. But some article directories do not allow HTML code or other formatting inside your body. My suggestion is that you write for `text only` as a standard. Simulate bullets and headings by making use of numbers, capitals, or a special character, like the tilde (~), or star (*).

~ Ending ~
The ending should summarise the reasons why the article solves the problem stated in the title and the introduction. Try and end with an interesting point or final quote, to invite readers to further investigate the topic.

~ Resource box ~
The resource box is the place to write a mini-ad for your site, service or product. You can send people directly to an affiliate link here, or direct them to your site. Try to make the link contain your major keyword or keyword phrase, for maximum `backlink` benefit – if you can. A good resource box will persuade the reader to click through to your site. Offer something for free, and create a sense of urgency!

If you follow this simple layout structure (obviously combined with great content!) for your articles you will find that
- more article directories will accept your articles for submission
- you present a professional image that instils confidence in your reader
- your articles will get published on more websites, leading to more traffic

in short, your articles will get the exposure they deserve!

Why The `COSMETIC` Look of A Sales Letter Can Have Just As Much Impact as The Words!

Sunday, December 21st, 2008

If you`ve ever watched a movie that gripped you with all the drama and excitement you could handle, did you ever think what the impact would be without the emotion, the lighting, the film score?

You see, a sales letter, or any other marketing document, is pretty much like a movie.

Dialogues alone won`t do it. All the other `side-show effects` are just as important.

How can a dull, monotone, complex looking sales letter, be transformed into a dramatic, compelling and entertaining piece of advertising copy, WITHOUT ALTERING ANY OF THE WORDS?

* Well, for a start, the beginning of each paragraph can be indented to 3-5 spaces. This breaks up the BLOCK effect, as done for this paragraph.

* Keeping the sentences short, sharp and punchy, ads a flow and continuation to the piece. It also gives a lot of `eye-relief` to the reader.

* Underlining relevant and important parts that you specifically want the reader to `get`, breaks up the dense mass words, thus drawing the reader to want to know more of what`s being said.

* Adding Bold and CAPITAL letters to certain words or even whole sentences, gives the piece a personality and makes it enjoyable for the reader to go through it.

*Differing font sizes also helps emphasise key elements of the communication. Its effect is similar to a change of TONALITY if we were actually speaking to each other.

*Highlighting certain areas of a marketing document, helps create drama, curiosity, interest. It also helps to change the look and `feel` of the written communication.

*Changing font styles also creates a changing dialogue within the piece and moves it along at a slower or faster pace, thus encouraging the reader to keep alert, attentive and to keep on reading.

* Putting borders or frames around certain words, sentences or paragraphs, helps create attention and emphasises something important is being said.

*Using 1,2,3, Numbered lists, breaks up the use of continuous prose, and, it adds a value to the content order of the list.

* Using `Bullets` add life to an otherwise mundane looking piece. Bullets create the impact of importance as well as giving an added zest to the flow of the piece.

*Scribbling hand written notes in the margins, or even within the paragraphs, helps give that certain `authenticity` to the communication.

*Similarly, `junking` up a sales letter or marketing document, adds a personal effect that just wouldn`t be there with a straight, plain, lifeless looking piece.

By `junking` I mean double underlining, maybe in colour. It could mean striking through certain words or sentences, and having it re-written up above. It could mean writing things, in bold felt tip pen, like ” I can`t believe I just did that!” when making an offer that seems so irresistible.

This `junking` effect can now be easily created to website sales messages due to the enormous range of software that`s available to duplicate this `look`.

Of course, with all of the above, we need to ensure that we don`t go over board and detract from the main message we wanted our audience to hear.

Though, the tighter our relationship we have with our audience, the more we can `get away` with it all.

I know of someone who`s used a simulated coffee cup stain on his sales letter, just to bring a little bit of realism and authenticity to his marketing messages.

See what life you can bring to your own advertising and marketing messages! It could surprise you and your prospects and customers!
