List Building: -Opt-in forms are typical known as list building

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

How do you get people to buy your products? How do you start making sales to people who you are approach for the first time? How to start making money on the internet? How can you make money online? How do you get someone to click “Pay Here”?

This answer is here. I am going to reveal a simple step by step solution to persuade your customers to buy. The best part is your customers buy your product because they think it is good for them. There is no forced selling and no need for you to spend a lot of time trying to convince them.

The magic is with opt-in forms.

Opt-in forms are typical known as list building. It is a box where the visitors of a website fill in their email address and name. Why do they join your mailing list? Because you are going to give them free information through email and you are going to give them a lot of free information and create a lot of value for them.

Opt-in forms allow you to create an auto-responder to your list of email contacts. What you must do is to set up 7 emails with the product information and tell your customer what problems the product will solve, how it can improve their lives, for more details visit to www.mailing-lists-profit.com how it will transform their lives and show them the value the product will create for them. When they realize that the product gives them value which is more than 10 times the price, they will buy the product from you.

Make sure you are able to show them how the product gives them more value than what they are paying for.

I’ll give you an example. Say you are selling a dating product like “How to approach a beautiful partner of the opposite sex”. The product can cost about $50 dollars. What must you do? You must show that the product can give them value of more than $500 dollars.

Can you do it? Of course, you can. Simply show them how the product can cut down on the money they spend on going to restaurants. By attracting the person with your charisma, you can spend less, for more details visit to www.email-auto-format.com save your money and also, attract the person forever. When the customer feels that you have given them a lot of value than the cost of the product, they will trust you and buy from you.

Not your Typical Anti Wrinkle Firming Cream

Monday, December 29th, 2008

Have you try any skin care beauty products like creams, gels and lotions? Most women have tried not one but any number of creams from all types of brands and if you ask them which cream they are currently using they tell you various brands for different purposes.

I have a problem with that approach, is understandable that people feel frustrated with the lack of results an anti wrinkle cream produce, so they try a new one or the latest one. Most creams contain chemicals alcohol, retinol, parabens, petrolatum and other substances that can hurt or damage the skin and if you use several of those creams from different brands you are making a soup of chemicals on your skin and can produce a negative long term effect that you dont want to.

An anti wrinkle firming cream should have very specific purposes:

1) It should stimulate collagen and elastin in your skin to reduce wrinkles.

2) It should contain Potent anti oxidants to destroy free radicals that damage your skin.

3) And it should increase your levels of hyaluronic acid.

If you cream can achieve those objectives you are on the right track to rejuvenate your skin, however there is still one problem, is recommended that your creams contains only natural active ingredients and not chemicals that can cause secondary effects in sensitive skin.

So as you can see is not an easy task to find an anti wrinkle cream that would accomplish all those things. In my research i have found that most skin care cream products in the U.S. are highly unregulated and contain harsh chemicals.

However New Zealand has the leading technology in skin care and a company called Xtendlife.org produces some of the most innovative and breakthrough creams with natural ingredients from different parts of the world.

CynergyTk is one of the breakthrough ingredients that contains Functional Keratin an extract from the wool of sheep that stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin in the skin, thus firming the skin and improving elasticity.

Great Plains FRx Reseller Newsflash: installation, and typical support cases

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Dynamics GP Financial Reporting is typically realized in FRx. FRx reporting has direct connector to Great Plains General Ledger, where it uses Accounts Summary table (this is why when you do GL direct SQL transaction feed, you have to reconcile accounts, by doing this – you recalculate Accounts summary table records), potentially it can even drill allow you unposted transactions inclusion (assuming that you posted Sales, Purchasing, Payroll transactions to General Ledger, where they are waiting for review and approval to be posted). In this small publication we would like to review the most common mistakes and pitfalls with FRx installation in client-server environment:

1. Compatibility with Great Plains Dynamics GP 10.0. FRx should be of the version 6.7 and you must apply Service Pack 9. You can download FRx service pack from Dynamics GP Partner Source, if you are Great Plains VAR or Consultant. Just to be sure, that you will not be able to launch FRx user, if you just have FRx 6.7 CD – Service Pack 9 or newer is required. If you are installing not the first FRx workstation, please apply the same FRx Service pack as you have on other FRx workstations in production environment

2. ODBC name misspelled. Yes, surprisingly enough this is one of the most popular mistakes, especially often done by internal IT people to whom Great Plains Resellers are trying to entrust FRx installation job. Before calling to Microsoft Business Solutions technical support (if you are not on unlimited cases per year in your Deluxe support plan), please open FRx, cancel logging to the company and follow this route: company, information, click on the intended company, switch to system specific information and write down Data Source Name. Then, open control panel, administrative tools, ODBC, System DSN and compare the name in FRx with the ODBC System DSN name (including spaces). If you now see the difference, please do not change the Data Source Name in FRX (if you do this – all the other, old FRx users will lose the connection to the company from their FRx workstations), instead create new system DSN on the new FRx workstation

3. Other support cases are about changing Natural segment to be different from Dynamics GP first account segment, detail level, rebuilding FRx specification set (with catalog, row format, column layout, reporting tree), consolidation, where you eliminate intercompany transactions in P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement

A typical day at Disneyland Resort

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

When planning a trip to Disneyland I suggest you plan to spend more than one day there as one day is quite insufficient for enjoying the complete Disneyland. Disneyland themselves suggest taking two days for Disneyland Park and then a further two days if you plan to visit Disney`s California Adventure park.

I even feel two days is still insufficient for really getting the full experience of Disneyland. The key to remember with Disneyland is it is not the amount of attractions you can visit but how much fun you have while there. Trying to do too much in a short time may lead to stress, exhaustion which may spoil the fun. What I suggest is plan out well in advance before you get to Disneyland so you maximize how much enjoyment you will get from the visit.

It is a good idea to go to the Disneyland website and check through what attraction are available and what you are most interested in.
Then make a list of attractions that you want to do on that day and prepare an ordered plan for them. I might be helpful to have a map guide of Disney on hand as well so you can plan the sequence of attractions in such a way as to reduce the amount of walking you will need to do. In the end doing it this way will save you time as well. If you have family members who are going as well try and incorporate them in the planning as it is an opportunity for them to also for what they want and it may end up being a heap of fun. When planning divide the day into three sections, morning, after luch, and evening. Many things will need to be considered when dividing it in to three sections as you never know how busy it is at Disneyland. So make sure you cover this in the plan. I recommned that after breakfast you plan to follow up with five to seven attractions (depending on how busy it is at Disneyland). I would also recommend using FastPass for attractions that have really long queues so that it saves you time as well. Then after lunch follow up with another five to seven attractions and follow this same prcedure.

Remember that you also need to plan for shows and parades. Depending on the time frame try and organize the attractions to fall in the middle so you see the shows and parades before and after the attractions. This will allow time to rest your body from the walking and standing you will be doing throughout the rest of the day. To ease the amount of walking you can also use the Disneyland transport which includes horse driven carriages, railroad to name a few as a means of enjoying while relaxing.

Evenings are the time to relax and enjoy the lights at Disneyland. Other entertainment include movies or you may choose to dine at one of the several restaurants in the Disney district.

Remember Disneyland is about having fun and if you plan your vacation to Disneyland accordingly then it should be a time to remember with fond memories.

Wedding Candy – Looking Past the Typical

Monday, December 1st, 2008

For a great length of time, bridal couples have been offering wedding favors to the guests of their ceremony as a way to give thanks for attendance. There are thousands of different small gifts that have served as favors, but something sweet to eat is a perennial favorite.

So don’t just provide the same, typical favors; select something special to be given as a wedding favor. If you want favors that will be popular with wedding guests as well as decorate your reception, try sweet colorful candies. Look past regular Jordan almonds and pastel mints for rare candies that will make your wedding one of a kind.

Beautiful glass bowls, jars, and vases in different dimensions can complement one another when filled with candy. When you pick your wedding colors, try to find matching candies to put in your containers. If you do not have a preference for any particular color, choose the candy first and then the wedding colors. To add a bit of elegance, attach a matching ribbon to the vessels. Print on business card stock the type of candies that are given to the attendees.

Provide a candy buffet. These wonderful goodies will greatly please your guests. Provide lots of scoops, and encourage people to help themselves. Make these more attractive with matching ribbon made into bows.

One option would be to use Rose Lollipops arranged in a vase. These confections come in bags of 120 and provide a broad color palette that spans the spectrum. The roses are each wrapped individually for appearance and convenience. Chocolate Dutch Mint Balls are also a great choice. These candies have a center of chocolate mint, which are draped in pastel sugar shells of pink, green, and light purple.

Champagne Bubbles candy would also work well in a wedding candy buffet. As you bite through the cream-colored non-pareil seeds, your palate will be delighted with a complex taste of white grape flavored gel. A touch of elegance can be achieved through champagne bubbles, plus they accent any color palette.

Simple but stylishly displays of scrumptious treats can be achieved with simple wedding favors. You might try filling a bag of organza with confections and treats. These are sold at decent prices at craft stores.

Some other options would be chocolate dipped strawberries boxed with complimentary ribbon or foiled chocolate hearts in heart shaped tins. Clear plastic bags of treats can be topped with folded cards designed on a computer and printed with the date and a picture of the wedding couple. The cards can be bound with colored staples or by threading ribbon through holes you punch in the cards; finish the corners with a decorative border.

With a name like Gold Amorini Chocolate Hearts, one gets just what they would expect: elegant chocolate in the shape of a heart covered with an edible coating of radiant gold. Adding a few Gold Pearlescence White Chocolate Jordan Almonds will provide you with a masterpiece of a wedding favor.

You will have no trouble making tasty souvenirs of your special day with so many wonderful options.

Christopher Pratt, a candy lover. He is President of Candy Warehouse, a place for finding any specialty candy from wedding mints to silver Jordan almonds. As the new trend in wedding candy continues, you can shop for candy by color at their separate section. White candy, pink candy, silver candy, and more can be found at Candy Warehouse.

Burnout: 10 Typical Signs It May Be Happening

Friday, November 28th, 2008

In essence, burnout is emotional and physical exhaustion caused by prolonged stress and can occur when you feel very overwhelmed and unable to meet constant demands.

But how can you recognise burnout? Here are 10 typical and common signs that it may be happening:

• a person with burnout often experiences overwhelming feelings of hopelessness, powerlessness, isolation, feelings of being trapped, and often strong feelings of despair
• a person with burnout is much more irritable and edgy than usual. He or she can be very “snappy” and cynical… much more than usual
• a person with burnout often experiences major disruption to sleep… insomnia is quite common but some people with burnout sleep for much longer and have great difficulty in waking up
• a person with burnout often feels detached and disconnected from what he or she is doing… whether that is with work, relationships, or even with him or herself
• a person with burnout typically experiences absolute total and utter exhaustion
• a person with burnout may experience increased drinking (alcohol), drug taking (e.g. sleeping pills, painkillers, aspirin or disprin), smoking, sexual activity, or increased shopping (for unnecessary and often expensive items)… all in an effort to escape what they are experiencing and to escape from the negative feelings they have
• a person with burnout often experiences major changes in eating habits… some may experience a complete loss of appetite, regularly skipping meals, picky eating… whereas others may increase their food intake and eat more comfort food and therefore put on more weight
• it is not uncommon that relationships fall apart for a person with burnout… relationships with family, friends, work colleagues, partner and children often tend to become strained and difficult
• the person with burnout frequently becomes unmotivated and appears to be very uncaring
• a person with burnout has an overriding feeling that he or she cannot take any more!

Please note: everybody experiences some or all of these signs fairly regularly but that doesn`t mean it is burnout. The big difference is that these signs of burnout are experienced over a long period of time — many weeks or months.

Sounds heavy… well it is for the person experiencing burnout and also for those close to the person.

But the good news is… lots can be done to prevent burnout from happening in the first place… but if it has happened… lots can be done to alleviate it!

What is the typical curriculum for a criminal justice degree?

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

The criminal justice degree program produces graduates who can critically assess issues and use that ability to impact the criminal justice system. The criminal justice degree program places emphasis on academics, oral and written communication and research potential. The curriculum is largely concentrated in social and behavioral sciences with core courses in government, law, psychology and sociology. Students take courses in other departments, as well as in criminal justice, giving them the ability to look at a problem from many viewpoints. This system exposes students to a wide diversity of faculty to explore different ideas and issues. Along with academics, the typical curriculum for a criminal justice degree grooms students to look at issues critically, make informed judgments and decisions, have an understanding about human nature and social arrangements, recognize cultural diversity, understand basic research, and communicate effectively.

Candidates undergoing criminal justice degrees must typically complete the core curriculum listed below:

1. Introduction to Criminology and Criminal Justice

2. Theories of Crime

3. Criminal Law

4. Criminal Justice Policy

5. Research Methods in Criminology and Criminal Justice

6. Statistical Analysis in Criminology and Criminal Justice

7. Seminar in Criminology and Criminal Justice

Beside this core curriculum, in most criminal justice programs, candidates may also have to complete any two courses from the following four :

a) Crime Prevention

b) Policing

c) Corrections

d) Juvenile Justice

In the next level, candidates may be required to take two courses from the following ones:

i. Communities and Crime

ii. Comparative Criminology and Criminal Justice

iii. Computers in Criminal Justice

iv. Ethics in Criminology and Criminal Justice

v. Forms of Criminal Behavior

vi. Gender, Crime, and Justice

vii. History of Crime and Justice

viii. Probation and Parole

ix. Race, Crime, and Justice

x. Rights of the Offender

xi. Victimology

xii. Special Topics in Criminology and Criminal Justice

A typical criminal justice degree curriculum may also include the following elective courses:

a). The City

b). Alcohol, Drugs and Society

c). Urban Law: Poverty and the Justice System

d). Internship in Criminology and Criminal Justice

e). Special Readings

In a typical criminal justice degree curriculum, an intense internship requirement is one of the program`s strengths. There are numerous agencies that accept interns on a regular basis. Internships may be arranged with law enforcement agencies, correctional institutions, probation/parole authorities, private security operations, prosecutors` and public defenders` offices, the local courts and some federal agencies. Feedback from both the agencies and the interns has consistently verified the value of “in-the-field” study to a well-rounded education.

Besides these core courses on criminal justice/criminology most degrees will also require completing some courses in communication, humanities and social sciences.

Jim Greenberg recommends you visit the Online Criminal Justice Degree Guide for more information on what an online criminal justice program is like.

What was a Typical day in the life of a Medieval Castle?

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Life in the Middle Ages could be very challenging and difficult. But there were many stretches of time when warfare was at a minimum, crops were plentiful, and castles were the homes of Lords, Ladies and large staffs of administrators and servants. Here is look at a typical day in the life of a Medieval Castle during these times of prosperity.

A castle was a large organization with a lot of people and a lot of things that needed to be done. This was accomplished with a well figured out system and hierarchy of power and responsibility. At the top of this hierarchy was the Lord of the Castle and his Lady. Under them the responsibilities were broken down into two general groups, the military group and the administrative/domestic group. The military group was in charge of all the day to day training of militia and the daily responsibility of security. The administrative/domestic half of the castle was in charge of the business of the castle and the running of the castle in as far as food, clothing, pay, cooking, hunting, serving, cleaning, and all the other things that go into running a community of people.

The typical day in a castle began with sunrise when everyone would get up from bed and begin their daily routine. The militia would rise and replace the night watch at the castle doors, towers, and walls. And the staff would begin preparation for the day’s meals and chores. Religion was very important to castle life and the first order of business for the day would be a mass in the chapel. Then there would be breakfast; which was usually very light and often just bread and wine. After breakfast the castle inhabitants would begin their daily assigned functions. The Lord would take meetings regarding diplomacy, trade, warfare, or legal and financial matters. And the Lady would often meet with her guests or pursue her personal projects such as needlepoint. Knights and squires would have lessons in fencing and other martial arts. Children would be given lessons in various subjects including religion. Many other people would be performing their normal morning functions. The grooms would be caring for the horses, the cooks would be preparing the days meals, and the tradesmen such as blacksmiths, carpenters, and masons would all be performing their normal daily work.

Between the hours of ten am and noon dinner would be served. Dinnertime for the residents of a castle was very important and if they had honored guests it could be a very long and festive event. It always begun with a saying of grace then the serving of a variety of foods from pork to beef and different types of vegetables including beans and peas. There would also be fruits like apples and pears. And if the castle was prosperous there could also be rare and exotic foods such as sugar, rice, almonds, raisins, or even pomegranates. During the dinner party, particularly if there were important guests, they would often be entertained by jokes, stories, and music by minstrels and harp players.

After dinner many would return to their daily work but the royalty, guests, and residents of rank would often pursue interesting recreation such as horse riding, archery, hunting, falconry, or the playing of chess and backgammon. This would continue until supper.

Supper would be served in the late afternoon and it usually consisted of a light meal with one or two courses then a sampling of cheese. After this meal the residents of the castle would relax and enjoy conversations or the pursuit of their personal hobbies. In the late evening there was often one last light supper after which everyone would retire to bed early in order to be ready for rising with the sun on the next day.

Life in a Medieval Castle was rich with a lot of different experiences from the doing of daily work, the learning of skills and crafts, the administration of duties to the enjoyment of meals and recreation. When times were good, the community productive and prosperous, it was an interesting, varied and good life.

Dissertation Writing`s Typical Problems to Break

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

For the newbies and uninformed, this account may seem exaggerated at best. But ask anyone who has experienced their own version of dissertation writing, and worse horror stories may just pour out. Indeed, from the conceptualization to actual presentation, varying thesis problems seem to be just waiting in the wings to ambush the unaware. It is no wonder then that the mere mention of a dissertation work can strike dread and wretched memories among those who went through the same ordeal.

Nevertheless, as difficult as it may appear, dissertation writing need not be as draining and mind-numbing. The best way to go about the process is to observe the mistakes of the past and learn from them. In this way, the earlier thesis problems can be prevented, with the writer reserving sufficient energy on other unforeseen roadblocks.

There are arguably four main dissertation problems that can be nipped in the bud before they can escalate to serious headaches. One pertains to choosing the right topic, and choosing it early. This is a very crucial beginning for writers, but many still gets hopelessly ensnared with poor choices. Looking back, a number of student writers have been known to pick themes that are a bit far from their own interests, and thus found themselves losing steam midway of the dissertation process. Lesson Learned: the writer should choose a topic that strongly appeals to his interest. Better yet, use this question during those fateful days of topic searching: What particular subject will be interesting enough to write about for an entire year?

Another thesis problem that can be avoided refers to having an incompatible mentor. It is never a good thing if a mentor and writer are worlds apart in terms of interests, work practice, and writing styles. With such a combination, both parties may just end up butting heads all throughout the dissertation process. Clearly, the writer stands to lose more, what with the dissertation hanging in the balance of two opposing forces. Lesson Learned: the writer should never underestimate the value of a great mentor. The chosen mentor should have a profound interest and knowledge on the thesis topic, have an efficient organizational skills that can complement the writer`s own work schedule, as well as possess that fervent commitment in guiding the thesis work until the end.

The third preventable dissertation problem pertains to the habit of procrastination, and all the resulting conflicts that arises because of such a sin. Some writers have this notion that a year seems so far away, thus delaying all the work. But therein lies the trap. As the writer procrastinates on thesis duties, time is moving steadily towards the deadline.

And before the writer can so much as blink, piles and piles of research, writing, additional research, and drafting are all waiting to be accomplished. Lesson Learned: Time flies fast for dissertation duty, so maximize every opportunity to work on the material. Research early and write on a consistent schedule.

With these usual problems out of the way, a heavy load of work, not to mention stress, will definitely be lifted from the writer. Indeed, it pays to remember that dissertation writing is difficult and demanding enough. It is then best not to make it more complicated than it already is.
